The Hoosic River Watershed Association is hosting a virtual State of the River Conference on Wednesday, February 17, beginning at 7 p.m.
HooRWA, with the assistance of the Williams College Center for Environmental Studies, is pleased to provide the public an opportunity to learn about bike paths along the Hoosic River and Walloomsac River that are planned, proposed, and in concept. Andy Hogeland will talk about the Ashuwillticook Trail construction planned for Williamstown in 2021. Ben Svenson from Toursists in North Adams will present ideas for an Adventure Trail working to connect the bike path North Adams to Williamstown. Bennington County Planning Commission planners Catherine Bryars and Mark Anders will discuss initial plans to turn the former Bennington Trolley line into a bike path.
