On Thursday, December 1, 2022 HooRWA held our State of the River. This year’s address was “A Victory for Rivers: The 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act,” by Thomas C. Jorling, Co-author of the Act. Executive Director Arianna Alexsandra Collins provided a brief presentation on HooRWA’s work and then gave the floor to Thomas C. Jorling, who gave an informative and substantive presentation about the process of the Clean Water Act becoming a law.
