2022 State of the River and 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act Video

Tom Jorling presentationOn Thursday, December 1, 2022 HooRWA held our State of the River. This year’s address was “A Victory for Rivers: The 50th Anniversary of the Clean Water Act,” by Thomas C. Jorling, Co-author of the Act.  Executive Director Arianna Alexsandra Collins provided a brief presentation on HooRWA’s work and then gave the floor to Thomas C. Jorling, who gave an  informative and substantive presentation about the process of the Clean Water Act becoming a law.

Paddling between North Adams and Pownal is usuallly safest when the Williamstown gauge reads 200cfs - 700cfs.
