Let Nature be your inspiration! Join the Hoosic River Watershed Association (HooRWA), Cheney Library, and Hoosick Township Historical Society for our River-inspired Poetry Workshop. Meet at Cheney Library in Hoosick Falls NY at 3:00pm on Friday, June 6. As we walk to the River, the Hoosick Township Historical Society will highlight the history and importance of the River in Hoosick Falls. As we walk along the riverside trail, participants will get writing prompts at stops along the way with opportunities to share their inspired work. The program will last 2hours.  Poets and poetry enthusiasts all welcome!

To register for this free program contact Cheney Library at director@cheneylibrary.org or call the library at 518-686-9401.

Facilitator: Arianna Alexsandra Collins, Executive Director of the Hoosic River Watershed Association (HooRWA), is a writer and poet and has a bi-monthly column “Into the Outside” in The Ashfield News. She has featured articles on learning wild edible and medicinal flora in MassWildlife, Ecological Landscape Alliance, and Northern Woodlands. Arianna is a contributing author in Nature Portals: Animate Earth Practices. You can find examples of her poetry and articles on her blog Hearken to Avalon.
